About us
Our clinic and training facilities are based on the outskirts of Bristol which provides a rural setting for a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a learning environment. On site we have a purpose built training facilities which includes a seminar room, rehabilitation assessment rooms, spacious hydrotherapy pool equipped with jets and rehabilitation platform, we also have a large state of the art Tudor treadmill which allows plenty of the room of the therapist with even the largest of breeds to comfortably work in. Outside we provide an outdoor exercise area, a gait analysis walk way and plenty of off street parking. Our facilities are spacious and well equipped to provide plenty of space to work together and learn in a comfortable environment.
Our lecturers are experts in their field of work and together they provide many years of veterinary knowledge and expertise. Within our team we have veterinary surgeons, senior veterinary nurses, ACPAT physiotherapists and hydrotherapists all working together to provide the most up to date knowledge in veterinary rehabilitation. Our lecturers have a hands on approach to teaching and like to get the students involved as much as possible. We understand that people learn in different ways therefore at The Animal Rehab Clinic we provide a range of course styles from practical face to face sessions to online learning with remote tutor support. With the challenging times we cam across in 2020-2021 we have took safety precautions to keep out practical sessions and in class learning to small class sizes so we are able to offer safe learning for everyone. These small class sizes gives great opportunity for one on one training sessions to allow our learners to get the most out of their practical days.
Our online courses are provided through an E-learning platform called Moodle, this is a platform which used by most colleges and universities as it allows learners to upload assignments, complete revision tests and assessments along side providing interactive education material and tutor support lessons.
Our practical in house learning courses are provided throughout the year on a 10 day practical course. Having face to face learning allows for more practical sessions and peer group discussions. After the 10 days home assignments are completed and sent in through our E-learning platform Moodle. Please see course information for dates available for booking.
